‘Mourning Light’ is a 15-minute short drama about bereavement and escape. Country village. Present day. With the death of her brother, Siobhan is doomed to face the world alone. With her strict and religious upbringing she feels trapped into a world she is losing faith in. Siobhan must choose between the life her parents have chosen for her, or pursue her passion for football and become the person her brother was pushing her to be.

Darryl O'Donovan - DIRECTOR
Darryl has directed over 20 short films,
many winning international awards. He
studied theatre in Switzerland for over 5
years and through this has gained vast
eperience in working with actors. A current
third year film student at the International
Film school.Clara Bennett - PRODUCER
Clara is currently in her third year studying
at the Film School in Newport. As well as
producing all her projects here, she has worked
on many professional projects in the production
team. Credits including Resistance (2011) and
The Filmmakers Son (2009)Hannah McKimm - CINEMATOGRAPHY
Hannah has recently finished a term
studying film at a Canadian film school.
She has worked on professional films as
a camera assistant. Credits include Clash
of The Titans and Narnia: Prince Caspian.
